In our opinion, everyone who attended the Workplace Health and Safety Show, Melbourne were clear winners this year – as thousands networked, enquired and learnt about the latest ways to improve safety in their organisations.

Talking with the Storemasta Team
Storemasta was out in force this year, bringing some of our latest dangerous goods storage, handling and management solutions to the market.
Our exhibition offered a rare chance for professionals to have a chat with Storemasta team members across multiple departments — including product developers, field specialists and storage consultants.
From aerosols to batteries, this event offered a unique opportunity for our team to discuss the important topics concerning dangerous goods and hazardous chemical safety with the public. We also handed out HUNDREDS of promotional AFL footies, plus free Spreyton Cider, Tasmanian fudge and a range of Storemasta merch to the masses. Working with other leading brands is something our Tasmanian-based business is passionate about, helping us further the awareness of Australian manufacturing.

As we met with professionals from all industries including construction, transport, healthcare and manufacturing, Storemasta chatted about a broad range of issues, covering all aspects of dangerous goods safety and compliance.
What we gained from the event was a better understanding of the role we play, providing clear and concise information to our customers so they can enjoy a complete dangerous goods safety solution.
Gaining a Deeper Understanding of Health and Safety Issues
Some of the thought-provoking discussions we had on the day included:
- How to educate staff about dangerous goods issues
- Understanding the chemical segregation guidelines with mixed goods
- Preparing your workplace for lithium-ion battery charging
- Storing volatile chemicals in the outdoor environment
- Implementing aerosol and gas cages to reduce fire and projectile risks
- Accessing up-to-date resources to assist with compliance awareness
- Transporting rechargeable batteries
- Best practice for chemical leak and spill containment
From our popular promotional footies flying out the door — to discussing the ins and out of battery cabinet construction — we had a great time at the show and are looking forward to the next opportunity to catch up with everyone.
Remember, the Workplace Health and Safety Show, Sydney is on the 23rd and 24th of October — and Storemasta will be there.
