Storemasta is proud to be the Australian distributor of asecos 90-minute fire-resistant safety cabinets.
asecos is a German manufacturer of fire-resistant safety cabinets for laboratories and industry, leading the world in fire safety compliance and certification. Storemasta is now making that engineering to Australian research laboratories, hospitals, universities and more.
Why 90 minutes?
When a fire breaks out, the first ultimate priority is getting people out and getting emergency services in. The longer stored chemicals, gases and batteries stay out of the fire, the more time everyone has.
HI-LINE fire-resistant cabinets are tested to European standard EN 14470 to Type 90. They're designed to keep their contents protected from an external fire for 90 minutes. That time can be the difference between a contained incident and the loss of a whole lab.
What are you protecting?
Choosing a safety cabinet usually comes down to the substance. Flammable liquid goes in a flammable cabinet. HI-LINE adds a second question: what happens to the people and assets around it if something goes wrong?
Storemasta's existing dangerous goods cabinets are still the right fit for plenty of sites. HI-LINE is for places where a fire would cost more, such as busy laboratories, high-value research facilities, battery charging areas and buildings that take a long time to evacuate.
The HI-LINE range at a glance:
Each one is designed for a particular hazard or workspace.
HI-LINE Q-LINE: the new standard for flammable liquids. A sturdy 90-minute cabinet that works in laboratories and industrial sites. If you're storing flammable liquids and want more fire protection, start with Q-LINE.
HI-LINE ION-LINE: storage and charging for lithium-ion batteries. A battery fire can start inside the cabinet, during storage or while charging, so batteries need different protection from chemicals. ION-LINE is designed specifically for batteries and is rated for 90 minutes of fire resistance.
HI-LINE G-LINE: gas cylinders in the workspace. Fire-resistant storage for compressed gas cylinders in working areas, tested to EN 14470-2 Type 90.
HI-LINE SL-LINE: for acids and alkalis. Corrosion-resistant storage with separate compartments to keep incompatible chemicals apart. It sits alongside the fire-resistant lines to complete a lab's storage setup.
Coming soon:
HI-LINE UB-LINE: Type 90 under the bench. UB-LINE fits beneath a workbench or fume cupboard, so chemicals sit close to where they're used. Staff make fewer trips across the lab, and you don't give up any floor space.
HI-LINE V-LINE: for tight spaces. A deep, narrow cabinet with vertical pull-out drawers, made for the gaps beside benches and fume cupboards where a standard cabinet won't fit.
HI-LINE S-LINE: for laboratory projects. asecos' long-standing laboratory platform, with a wide choice of sizes and layouts, including half-height models. Order in frto order.
